1 problem......many questions

Hello all. I've been looking for a site like this to help me. First, here's the problem: I have an Ethan Allen dining table and chairs that is too big for my tiny dining room and I need to sell them. I believe that they are made out of cherry. The chairs are Georgian Court with a cane back. Their model is 11-6201.

Now on to the questions. This set does not have the usual "Ethan Allen" logo branded into it. The chairs still have an Ethan Allen tag underneath the seat. I was told that this would be an older set before they started putting the logo into the wood. The same is for the table. There is no tag or brand on it, but it is clearly Ethan Allen. Did the early Ethan Allen not have the logo on it?

Another question deals with fair market value. The set is mint with literI have four side chairs, two arm chairs and the table with two leaves. Everyone here appears to be honest, so I was wondering what a fair asking price for the set would be?

I have pictures that I will gladly e-mail to anyone that could help, or who is interested in the set. The picture files were too big to post here. My e-mail is: jasonkrick30@adelphia.net.

Thanks in advance for the help! This is a great site!

Sorry, the third paragraph was supposed to read:

Another question deals with fair market value. The set is mint with little signs of wear. I have four side chairs, two arm chairs and the table with two leaves. Everyone here appears to be honest, so I was wondering what a fair asking price for the set would be?

It is definetly Ethan Allen. Someone asked me to put a value on some pieces in a posting before. I really think that if you can sell them and get enough cash to buy what you want then they are worth what a set would cost you today. This furnuture holds up over a long time. If it is mint then it sounds like you need to post pics to find a buyer.

I have seen that tag on many pieces before. Clearly EA.
